Music Together® In School
Hi, our names are Marina Sandall and Bree Lewis and we teach Music Together, a research-based music program for children in the Ridgecrest area. We have a music curriculum for early learning settings serving children birth through first grade that I would love to tell you about.
Music Together recognizes that Music Learning Supports All Learning®, so our approach goes deep and wide to create a rich musical environment for your entire early childhood community. The comprehensive curriculum and proven program model can be integrated into your classes to support the work of teachers, engage families, and give your children what they need to grow musically. With the Music Together In School curriculum, music goes far beyond a weekly class to become a powerful learning tool, supporting curricular goals set by your faculty as well as children’s development in key early learning domains. The innovative curriculum also supports family engagement through take-home materials, and provides professional development opportunities for classroom teachers.
We'd love to set up a time to speak with you about bringing the Music Together curriculum to your school and child development center. In our discussion, we’d cover:
- The benefits that Music Together can bring to your entire child development center/school community.
- What is included in the curriculum for the school, the families, the classroom
teachers, and the children. - After our discussion, I’d be glad to lead a complimentary demonstration class so that you can see what it might look like. This could be done in an online format, as well.

The price for your situation will differ based on various factors including, but not limited to, the number of students, siblings, and classrooms/centers participating.

Here is a what you can expect if you enroll with Music Together Ridgecrest:
*Note that this is only an example assuming two classes of 15 children each, where 2 of the 30 students are siblings (resulting in 29 separate families).
- Each of the 29 families would receive a beautifully illustrated book of the In School Collection of songs for the academic year as well as a CD and a code to download the music collection.
- You would receive up to 30 weeks of classes once a week for the school year by a trained and registered Music Together teacher.
- You would provide for each student two egg shakers, a scarf, and a pair of rhythm sticks. You can buy these on your own, make your own, or purchase from Music Together for 20% off.
- Classroom teachers would receive ongoing support and mentorship on how to incorporate the Music Together songs and curriculum into what the class might be learning at that time, or working on. (e.g. hand washing, etc.)
- Up to 2 Family Events, for example, if you wanted us to do something with an Open House, during a day when parents are invited to school, or a virtual event.
- The price would be approximately $5800 for the entire school year, which you can choose to cover or charge the parents accordingly. 25% of the cost would be due up front and the rest would be due over the 9 months of the school year. A 10% discount will be given if paid in full at the beginning of the year, and a 5% discount will be given for being paid in 2 equal installments at the beginning and middle of the year.
Not sure about a whole year of music classes?
We also have a sampler class option.
The Sampler Program includes everything mentioned above with the the following exceptions:
- The illustrated book would be of the Sampler Collection only.
- 10 weeks of classes rather than 30
- The price would be approximately $3000 for the example class described earlier (30 students/29 families).
